Microsoft previews MAI-Image-2.5-Pro and MAI-Voice-2-Flash

Microsoft has launched public previews of its in-house MAI-Image-2.5-Pro and MAI-Voice-2-Flash models.

MAI-Image-2.5-Pro is aimed at high-fidelity image generation, while MAI-Voice-2-Flash focuses on faster, cheaper speech generation.

Both models are available in Microsoft Foundry and the MAI Playground, and are already powering products like Bing Image Creator, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Dynamics 365 Contact Center, and Azure Voice Live.

The releases strengthen Microsoft’s proprietary AI stack by giving it more control over quality, latency, and cost.
