Intel’s Latest Drivers Let Users Allocate Up To 93% of System Memory To Arc iGPUs For Wider AI LLM Support

Intel released Arc Pro HotFix driver 302.0.101.8517, raising supported built-in Arc Pro iGPUs’ maximum system-memory allocation from 87% to 93%.

The update also broadens compatibility across select Arc Pro and Core Ultra platforms on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

More reserved shared memory means Intel integrated graphics can act like much larger VRAM, which helps run bigger local AI models.

The change is especially relevant for laptops and workstations using Arc Pro B390, B370, and related Intel iGPUs.
