An open-source Rust tool has been released on GitHub for the Framework 12 laptop.

It uses hinge-motion sensing to play a creaky-door effect, with pitch and volume driven by hinge movement.

The author says it was tested on the Framework 12, and it may also work on other laptops.

The project includes a release binary and source build instructions, plus Linux dependency notes for libiio and ALSA.
