Microsoft OneDrive users report mysterious spam files that won't go away

OneDrive users have been getting unsolicited shared files and links from unknown accounts, often with scam-like names.

The reports began in December and have spread across Reddit and Microsoft support forums, with concerns about phishing or malware.

Microsoft acknowledged the issue in January across Windows, macOS, iOS, and web and said it was working on a fix.

Users say the messages are hard to remove because they never fully appear in the OneDrive folder, and complaints continue.
