Restaurant and cafe overlooking the marina at Kobe waterfront, plus a live house

Kobe City is advancing waterfront redevelopment by approving a plan to build restaurants and cafés at Shinminato No.1 Pier Green Space alongside a large-yacht marina.

The project will be carried out under the Minato Green Space PPP, with private operators responsible for long-term development and management.

In the Kyobashi district, the city has also selected an operator for new attractions including a live music venue and cafés.

These moves aim to boost the use of harbor green spaces and improve circulation across the Kobe waterfront through private-led facilities.
