Apple could let you pick a favorite AI model in iOS 27

Apple is reportedly testing a way for users to choose a preferred AI model in Settings for Apple Intelligence.

In iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, third-party models could potentially power Siri and other Apple AI features.

Bloomberg says Apple is exploring integrations with Google and Anthropic, alongside its current ChatGPT tie-in.

The move would give users more choice and make Apple’s AI stack less dependent on a single partner.
