Major Xbox hires expand leadership team to strengthen console brand

Xbox reshaped its leadership team with new strategy, technology, and partnerships roles.

Matthew Ball joined as chief strategy officer, Scott Van Vliet as chief technology officer, and Chris Schnakenberg was promoted to lead partnerships and business development.

CEO Asha Sharma said the changes are meant to improve clarity and execution as Xbox prepares future product plans, including Project Helix.
