Galaxy Z Fold 8 goes official with redesigned wide form factor from $1,899

Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 8, a redesigned book-style foldable with a wider inner display and a shorter cover screen.

It runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy with Android 17 and comes with 12GB or 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 4,800 mAh battery.

The phone includes 50MP dual rear cameras and starts at $1,899, below the Galaxy Z Fold 7 launch price.

Samsung also promises 7 years of software support, reinforcing its long-term value for foldable buyers.
