Powering the agents: Workers AI now runs large models, starting with Kimi K2.5

Cloudflare expanded Workers AI to support large open-source models, starting with Moonshot AI’s Kimi K2.5.

Kimi K2.5 brings long context, tool calling, vision inputs, and structured outputs for agentic workloads.

Cloudflare says it is already using the model internally for coding and code review tasks.

The company also reported major inference cost savings versus proprietary models in a security-review use case.

The update gives developers one platform for building agents with execution tools and a frontier-scale model.
