Station customer harassment drops to zero: One month after Odakyu introduced body-worn cameras, staff welcome the measure, saying it brings greater peace of mind

Odakyu Electric Railway began using small wearable cameras for station staff at all 70 stations in April.

The cameras are meant to record passenger incidents and deter customer harassment.

In the first month through May 15, the company reported zero harassment cases.

The result suggests wearable cameras may help reduce trouble, improve recordkeeping, and ease staff stress.
