Homebridge 2.0 is here, and it speaks Matter

Homebridge 2.0 is out after a long beta, bringing the groundwork for Matter support to the popular smart home bridge.

The update lets Homebridge act as both a HomeKit and Matter bridge, so supported devices can show up in Apple Home and other Matter ecosystems.

This should help users expose more devices and controls across platforms like Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant.
