Honor Robot Phone: A Smartphone That Literally Reaches Out and Takes Photos for You

Honor unveiled the Robot Phone in Shenzhen, a smartphone with a hidden 360-degree motorized camera arm.

The arm doubles as an integrated gimbal, while on-device AI helps frame shots, stabilize video, and control smart home functions.

Honor says the device could mark a shift from traditional smartphones toward AI-driven hardware that actively assists users.

A commercial launch is planned for Q3 2026, with the concept shown at the Snapdragon Fans event.
