US company unveils mass-producible kamikaze drone

Dzyne Technologies has unveiled Blitz, a battery-powered Group 1 one-way attack drone built for low-cost, mass production.

Blitz offers an 80–150 km range, modular payloads, and launch options from hand, rail, or an ISO container system called BlitzBox.

The drone is designed for ISR, electronic warfare, decoy, and strike missions, including autonomous and swarm operations.

The U.S. Department of War is backing wider drone production through its Drone Dominance Initiative and FY 2027 funding.

The move highlights U.S. efforts to scale affordable, domestically produced expendable drones for combat support and attack roles.
