Tesla’s latest Cybertruck recall sounds almost comical

Tesla is recalling 173 2024-2026 Cybertruck Long Range rear-wheel-drive vehicles over a brake rotor and wheel assembly defect.

Regulators said cracks could form and cause wheel studs to separate from the hub, creating a wheel-detachment risk while driving.

Tesla will replace the affected parts at no cost.

No crashes or injuries have been reported, and the affected batch is relatively small.
