SKT secures 100% stake in SKB... making it a wholly owned subsidiary

SK Telecom has made SK Broadband a wholly owned subsidiary by acquiring the remaining common shares through a comprehensive share swap.

The company raised its stake to 100% and canceled all shares tendered via share purchase demands.

With SK Broadband fully under its control, SK Telecom may speed up decision-making and strengthen business coordination.

The deal is also expected to enhance synergies between AI and telecom capabilities and IPTV and high-speed internet services.
