Anthropic’s Claude Code agent view is a better dashboard. So why aren’t developers convinced?

Anthropic added an agent view dashboard to Claude Code for launching, monitoring, and switching between multiple agent sessions in the terminal.

The update centralizes status and inline replies, making parallel agent workflows easier to oversee.

Developers said it mainly reduces workflow friction, not deeper problems like trust, safety, audit trails, or reliability.

They also pointed to ongoing concerns around rate limits, token costs, and overall compute pressure.
