US advances replenishment of 500 Patriot interceptors to Qatar to combat ballistic risks

The U.S. approved a $4 billion package to replenish about 500 Patriot interceptors for Qatar.

The deal rebuilds Qatar’s air and missile defense stockpile, including PAC-3 MSE and GEM-T missiles.

It strengthens protection for key military and infrastructure targets, including Al Udeid Air Base.

The move also highlights pressure on limited Western interceptor production as regional risks remain high.
