OpenAI's First Devices: Speaker, Smartphone, and More

OpenAI’s first consumer device is now said to be a portable, screenless smart speaker, with an early 2027 launch target.

An AI-focused smartphone is expected later, and smart glasses and earbuds are also being considered.

The phone is described as context-aware and powered by a custom MediaTek chip plus multiple AI processors.
