Anthropic Reins In Subscribers' Unlimited AI Use for OpenClaw

Anthropic told subscribers they must pay separately when heavy third-party agents like OpenClaw use Claude models.

Monthly subscribers can still access Claude models (Opus, Sonnet, Haiku) via third-party agents but agent usage is billed via Anthropic's API or pay-as-you-go.

Anthropic also added OpenClaw-like features to Claude and has a five-hour session cap during peak periods to manage demand.
