Apple debuts RC for iPadOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5, and more

Apple has shipped release candidate builds for iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, macOS Tahoe, iOS, visionOS, and HomePod 26.5.

The RCs are now available to developer and public beta testers, signaling the updates are likely close to a final release.

A public launch is expected as soon as next week if no major issues are found.

The 26.5 updates are expected to include features such as end-to-end encrypted RCS and Apple Maps improvements.
