Google launches generative UI standard for AI agents

Google released A2UI 0.9, a framework-agnostic standard that lets AI agents dynamically generate UI using existing app components.

The update adds a shared web core library, official and updated renderers, and a new Python-based Agent SDK.

It also brings support for client-defined functions, data syncing, and improved error handling for more flexible and reliable integrations.

A2UI could make it easier to build consistent cross-platform interfaces across web and mobile, accelerating adoption in the AI tooling ecosystem.
