SUSE seeks to make VMware migrations a “non-event”

SUSE and Cloudbase Solutions are integrating the Coriolis agentless migration tool into SUSE Virtualization.

The move enables low-downtime migrations from VMware and public clouds, with a dedicated path for critical SAP workloads like SAP HANA.

The tool is available now and was announced at SUSECON 2026 in Prague.

The partnership gives organizations a lower-risk, lower-friction way to exit VMware without long projects or heavy per-VM costs.
