Did Apple Just Make a Huge Mistake with the iPhone 18 Pro Max Colors?

Apple is reportedly preparing iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models with muted new colors, small design tweaks, a variable-aperture camera, a smaller Dynamic Island, and the A20 Pro chip.

The Pro lineup may also get Apple’s first 2-nanometer chip, but the updates appear incremental rather than a major redesign.

At the same time, Apple is said to be working on a foldable iPhone Ultra, which could debut alongside the Pro models.

That raises the risk that Apple’s standard Pro phones get overshadowed and struggle to justify upgrades.
