Anker made its own chip to bring AI to all its products

Anker unveiled Thus, a custom AI audio chip built to bring local AI to small devices.

The compute-in-memory design is meant to run larger models in battery-powered products with lower power use.

Its first use will be upcoming Soundcore earbuds, aiming to improve call noise canceling and voice pickup.

The chip could eventually expand beyond earbuds to other small IoT devices and accessories.
