Review: The Midnight Walk (Switch 2) - Atmospheric Walking Sim Delivers A Haunting, Stop-Motion Nightmare

The Midnight Walk launched on PS5 and PC in May 2025 and is now available on Nintendo Switch 2.

The game uses stop-motion visuals made from 3D-scanned clay models and pairs them with directional audio.

Players spend about five to eight hours guiding the Burnt One, using stealth and fire to evade monsters while accompanied by a helper called Potboy.
