Apple Will Broadcast a Major League Soccer Game Captured Entirely With iPhones

Apple will film the May 23 MLS match between LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo entirely with 15 iPhone 17 Pro devices.

It will be the first major live professional sports broadcast captured only on iPhones.

Apple says the test could prove a cheaper, more flexible way to produce live sports.

The move may hint at a bigger role for consumer devices in professional broadcast production.
