NTT expands its AI-native platform “AIOWN” and triples data center scale

NTT unveiled AIOWN, an AI-native infrastructure plan to centrally manage GPUs, networks, power, and security across distributed sites.

The company plans to more than triple data center scale by FY2033 and raise IT power capacity from about 300 MW to 1 GW.

The expansion is aimed at meeting surging AI inference demand with low-latency, secure distributed computing.

NTT also highlighted related efforts in liquid cooling, sovereign AI, and digital-twin operations across its group companies.
