Another Chinese DRAM Maker Breaks Into DDR5 Memory, Mass Producing 64GB RDIMMs as Samsung and SK Hynix Run Dry

SINKER, a subsidiary of POWEV/Jiahe Jinwei, announced DDR5 memory products and said it has started shipping 64GB DDR5 RDIMMs to data centers.

The company said mass production is now ramping up for both domestic and global markets.

The move signals Chinese DRAM makers are pushing into higher-end server memory production amid strong AI-driven demand.

It could help ease local memory shortages and reduce reliance on foreign suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron.
