Meta says WhatsApp is now the safest app to chat with an AI

Meta is adding Incognito Chat to WhatsApp and Meta AI for temporary AI conversations with no saved history or retained context.

The company says even Meta won’t be able to access the chat after the session ends, aiming to make sensitive questions feel safer.

Meta also plans a Side Chat feature so users can privately ask Meta AI questions inside group chats.

Both features will roll out gradually over the next few months, as Meta continues to balance AI convenience with privacy concerns.
