Two years later, Google appeals antitrust ruling for search, citing 'hard work' for the top spot

Google has appealed Judge Amit Mehta’s antitrust ruling on its search business.

It argues the decision included legal errors and that its dominance came from innovation and business choices.

Google is also seeking to block remedies that would require sharing search data with rivals, including AI companies.

The case is now before the D.C. Circuit, with a possible Supreme Court appeal later.
