ChatGPT Can Now Connect to Your Financial Accounts for Budgeting Advice

OpenAI is rolling out a ChatGPT feature for U.S. Pro users that connects financial accounts through Plaid.

The integration can show spending, balances, liabilities, subscriptions, and portfolio performance, and answer budgeting questions from that data.

ChatGPT won’t expose full account numbers or make account changes, but it does raise privacy and security expectations.

The feature is available on iOS and the web, with Intuit support coming later and Plus access planned after Pro-user feedback.
