JR East Offers Online Medical Consultations in Private Booths at Stations with "LX Doctor"

JR East is introducing LX Doctor, online medical consultations available in private station booths at 22 stations (24 booths total).

Membership registration opens May 18; service begins May 20 in the Tokyo-area and rolls out in Sendai from autumn 2026.

Consultations occur in individual booths without prior doctor reservations; booth entry and exit use Suica.

Visits take about 15 minutes from check-in to payment; offered specialties are internal medicine, ENT, and dermatology; hours are weekdays 8:00–19:30, weekends/holidays 9:00–17:00.

teppay payments will be supported after this autumn; the service links with smart health stations and JR Tokyo General Hospital and aims to expand to 500+ locations by ’31.
