SynapX Launches SYNData: Multimodal Data Collection System for Embodied AI Era

SynapX launched SYNData, a multimodal embodied AI data collection system for manipulation tasks.

The setup combines a quad-camera headset, EMG wristbands, and a data glove to capture first-person visual and bioelectrical signals.

Using a Bio2Robot approach, SYNData converts human physical interaction into training data for robots.

SynapX says the system recently placed second globally and first in China in an ICRA 2026 challenge.
