Turkey unveils swarm-ready kamikaze submarine drone with 230-mile strike range

ASELSAN unveiled two new unmanned maritime weapons at SAHA 2026 in Istanbul: the TUFAN surface drone and the KILIÇ 200 underwater vehicle.

TUFAN is built for fast, swarm-capable strike and surveillance missions, while KILIÇ 200 emphasizes stealth and underwater operations.

The systems reflect Turkey’s push to expand low-cost autonomous naval attack options that can reduce risk to personnel and support asymmetric warfare.
