Desktop monitor shipments reached 133.4 million units in 2025, up 4.3% year over year, according to Omdia.

Gaming monitors were the main growth engine, with shipments jumping 50.2% to 41 million units.

Demand is being fueled by high-refresh-rate, dual-mode, and OLED models, including QD-OLED panels.

The rebound suggests a mature PC accessory market is getting a fresh boost from gaming upgrades.
