After turning it on in Settings, users can press the AirPods stem to snap a photo or start and stop video on iPhone.

The feature makes hands-free selfies, group shots, and video easier without touching the phone.

It works only with newer AirPods that include Apple’s H2 chip, such as AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3, and AirPods 4.
