Google DeepMind staff in London voted to seek union recognition through CWU and Unite.

Workers want Google to stop pursuing weapons, surveillance, and military AI contracts.

They are also asking for a right to opt out of ethically objectionable projects.

Management has 10 working days to recognize the effort before possible legal action.
