Apple planning standalone Siri app for iOS 27 and macOS 27, per report

Apple is planning a standalone Siri app report from Bloomberg by Mark Gurman says Apple is testing a dedicated Siri app for upcoming releases.

IOS 27 may include the dedicated Siri app, report suggests the app could be revealed when Apple unveils iOS 27 on June 8.

Siri is being tested on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, bloomberg report states the standalone Siri app is under testing across those devices.

Siri interface will use a new design with a Dynamic Island placement and a pill-shaped 'Searching' indicator one design in testing places Siri at top of screen within Dynamic Island and shows a pill-shaped indicator labeled 'Searching' before expanding into a larger panel.

Apple and Google have a deal for Gemini models to power Siri and Apple Intelligence features, apple agreed to use Google's Gemini AI models for upcoming Siri and Apple Intelligence features, per the report.
