This annoying Gboard voice typing flaw could soon be gone

Google is testing a "Use Bluetooth microphone" option in the Gboard Android beta v17.1.2.

The toggle lets Gboard accept voice input from connected Bluetooth earphones instead of the phone mic.

The feature appears to be rolling out server-side and is not yet visible to all beta users.

Bluetooth mics can introduce latency or lower audio quality on some headsets, which may affect transcription.
