Amazon’s built-in AI price history expands to show the entire last year

Amazon has expanded its built-in price history tool to show a full 12 months of price changes, up from the previous 30- and 90-day views.

The feature is available in the U.S., U.K., and India through the app’s Price history button or by asking Amazon’s AI assistant Rufus.

The longer timeline gives shoppers more context on discounts and could help them judge deals more accurately.

The update arrives as Amazon faces scrutiny over pricing practices ahead of Prime Day.
