Xinghe Power's Zhishenxing-1 to make its maiden flight in mid-to-late August, mission codename “Ride the azure dragon across the Milky Way” - IT之家

Galactic Energy unveiled the mission badge for “Pallas-1 (Yao-1)” and said the launch will be carried out at an appropriate time.

Pallas-1 is scheduled for its maiden flight in mid-to-late August 2026 from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, with only basic orbital insertion planned and no first-stage recovery on this mission.

The follow-on Yao-2 rocket is expected to arrive in Jiuquan around August 10 for the first first-stage recovery test on an orbital-class vehicle.

The plan marks a key step for China’s private space sector in validating a medium-to-large reusable liquid rocket, which could strengthen commercial launch capability if successful.
