SpaceX’s most powerful rocket ever launched in test, but booster fails and crashes

SpaceX launched its upgraded Starship V3 on a test flight from Starbase, Texas, marking the debut of the latest design.

One Super Heavy booster engine failed at liftoff, and the booster later lost its landing burn after stage separation.

The booster broke apart and crashed during a splashdown attempt in the Gulf, while the upper stage completed its mission.
