Gemini is rolling out to cars with Google built-in

Google is rolling out Gemini to cars with Google built-in, replacing Google Assistant with a more capable in-car AI.

The first launch is in English in the U.S., with other regions and languages to follow later.

Eligible signed-in drivers will get the upgrade through a software update, including some existing vehicles.

Gemini will support more natural conversations, car-specific questions, message summaries, navigation updates, and select app integrations.
