Google Details the New Magic Pointer Features Coming to Googlebooks

Google DeepMind unveiled Magic Pointer, an AI-powered cursor coming to Googlebooks laptops later this year.

It can summarize PDFs, turn tables into charts, edit recipes, and combine spreadsheet columns directly on screen.

The goal is to speed up everyday tasks by letting users manipulate content with the pointer instead of writing detailed prompts.

Similar AI cursor-style tools are already available in Google AI Studio and Gemini in Chrome.
