Google Gemini Enterprise to become the AI platform for everyone

Google announced at Cloud Next that Gemini Enterprise is expanding into a large-scale enterprise AI agent platform.

A new Agent Platform replaces Vertex AI delivery, bringing agent development, runtime, and governance into one stack.

The update adds support for more than 200 models, a more advanced Agent Development Kit, MCP support, and longer-running agents with memory.

New enterprise controls include Agent Identity, Agent Registry, and policy management tools.
