PlayStation Plus price increase rolling out for some players

Sony is raising PlayStation Plus Essential prices in select regions, affecting one-month and three-month plans.

Most current subscribers are protected, but price changes can apply if a subscription is renewed, changed, or lapses.

Turkey and India are exceptions, where the increase takes effect immediately or on renewal.

Sony said the hike reflects ongoing market conditions and adds to pricing pressure in gaming subscriptions.
