‘Google Health’ replaces Fitbit app as new ‘Premium’ plan joins AI Pro

Google is rebranding the Fitbit app as Google Health while keeping Fitbit as the hardware brand.

The app adds customizable dashboards, manual logging, restored friend leaderboards, and multimodal AI logging by text, voice, and photo.

Premium subscribers get Google Health Coach, adaptive workout plans, and deeper insights, with the plan bundled into Google AI Pro and AI Ultra or sold separately.

The rollout starts May 19, with Google Fit data migration planned later this year.
