Bluesky users blame outages on widespread 'vibe coding' claims

Bluesky experienced intermittent outages on Monday and blamed an upstream service provider for the disruption.

During the outage many users blamed developers and their reported use of AI-assisted 'vibe coding' for the problems.

Bluesky staff have publicly acknowledged using Claude Code and launched Attie, a Claude Code–based tool for building custom feeds.

Anti-AI segments of Bluesky's user base have expressed ongoing concern about AI tools influencing product development.
