Rinkai Line and New Shuttle to allow purchase of mobile Suica commuter passes for specific sections

JR East plans to launch mobile Suica commuter passes for the Rinkai Line and New Shuttle from fall 2027 onward.

The new passes will be valid only within each line’s own service area, unlike the current system that only supports interline passes with JR East.

Users will be able to buy the passes on their smartphones without visiting a station, improving convenience for commuters and students.
