Capcom just sold more games than in any year in its history

Capcom said it sold a record 59.07 million games in the fiscal year ended March 31.

Resident Evil Requiem sold nearly 7 million units, while older catalog titles drove most of the volume.

The company also posted its ninth straight year of record profit.

Capcom expects sales and profit to grow again next year, underscoring the strength of its back catalog and digital distribution.
